“The Dark Eye - Chains of Satinav”, the new Adventure from Daedalic Entertainment and Deep Silver, is now available online for PC. Geron and the fairy Nuri take the player to a stirring adventure in order to save the lands of Aventuria from the threat of a downfall. 

Players take on the role of young trapper Geron, who gets involved into an uncanny intrigue. The kingdom of Andergast, whose inhabitants are well known for their superstition, is in clinch with the neighbored Nostria, but first steps into the direction of an enduring peace are taken. But a mysterious plague of crows disturbs all upcoming hope. The birds are getting more and more aggressive and even attack people.

To get rid of this plague, the king seeks a skilled bird catcher - an opportunity for Geron to prove that the reputation for ill luck, that has followed him since childhood, is undeserved. Following an audience with the king, the prestigious task is assigned to him. However, not only does this quest prove to be unexpectedly difficult, but it also turns out to be the first step into the greatest adventure of his life, which will lead him to the uncharted lands of Aventuria and beyond. Be prepared for stunning hand-drawn backgrounds, elaborately animated characters in HD resolution, clever puzzles and a gripping story.

Daedalic Entertainment und Deep Silver präsentieren den offiziellen Trailer zu dem kommenden Adventure-Highlight „Das Schwarze Auge - Satinavs Ketten“. Darüber hinaus stehen hier weitere Details zu den Charakteren und Schauplätzen sowie Auszüge aus dem Soundtrack, Sprechproben der deutschen Version und Desktophintergründe zur Verfügung.

Der offizielle Trailer bietet Fans zahlreiche stimmungsvolle Einblicke in die Hintergrundgeschichte von Satinavs Ketten und die Fantasy-Welt Aventurien. Die Videoszenen zeigen die Geschichte um den jungen Fallensteller Geron, welchem ein unheilvolles Schicksal prophezeit wurde. Gemeinsam mit seiner mysteriösen Begleiterin Nuri, kommt er einer tödlichen Krähenplage auf die Spur und macht sich auf die Suche nach dem Ursprung des Bösen.

Vor genau 13 Jahren wurde ein düsterer Hexenmeister auf dem Scheiterhaufen ausgelöscht. Man dachte, damit sei seinen dunklen Machenschaften endlich ein Ende gesetzt, doch das war ein folgenschwerer Irrtum…

Spieler schlüpfen in die Rolle Gerons, der im nordischen Königreich Andergast in ein unheimliches Komplott verwickelt wird. Andergast, dessen Einwohner sich durch einen ausgeprägten Hang zum Aberglauben auszeichnen, befindet sich im Clinch mit dem benachbarten Nostria, aber nun werden erste Schritte in Richtung eines dauerhaften Friedens gemacht. Doch die mysteriöse Krähenplage stört die aufkeimende Hoffnung. Die immer aggressiveren Vögel greifen sogar Menschen an.

Um der Plage Herr zu werden, sucht der König einen geschickten Fallensteller: Die Chance für den jungen Geron zu beweisen, dass ihm sein Ruf als Unglücksrabe seit Kindheitstagen zu Unrecht anhaftet. Eine Audienz beim König verschafft ihm die prestigeträchtige Aufgabe. Doch diese entpuppt sich nicht nur als unerwartet schwer zu bewältigen, sondern auch als erster Schritt in das größte Abenteuer seines Lebens, das ihn bis ans Ende des bekannten Aventuriens und darüber hinaus führt.
